Description
This wonderful Chasselas is one of the best examples of the grape you can find. Known both as ‘The Lizard Wine’, and also Roger Moore’s favourite white wine, this terrific white is both steely and fresh whilst having an underlying richness. Stone fruits and white flowers abound whilst the palate posesses a distinct mineral edge to add complexity, making this wine wonderfully approachable now, but with the ability to age gracefully for several years from vintage.

2021 Puligny Montrachet, Domaine Meunier
Chardonnay
The grapes for this approachable Puligny are hand harvested and undergo a gentle pressing. The juice is then left to settle for a few days then put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled. Great persistence in the mouth, this wine has a wonderful freshness to it and can be enjoyed in it's youth.
