Description
The Saint Maur is a single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc made by Two Rivers in Marlborough. It is a true terroir project and the fruit is harvested from 20 year old vines that grow on the silt and gravel soils. This fabulous white wine is fermented naturally in a mixture of concrete egg and amphora, and rested on it’s lees for a further 12 months prior to release. The result is a wonderfully textured, exotic and focussed with a complex citrus and herbal tinged palate. Just 2000 bottles are produced of this wonderful Kiwi Sauvignon so grab it while you can.

Around 2,000 hectares are vinified on 2 different sites, a major part of which is located on clay-limestone soils with some pockets of marl as well. The climate is Mediterranean, dry and hot during summer, but more temperate due to it's proximity to the sea.
