The Nostru range from Azienda Agricola Cortese offer terrific value, expressive wines made with grapes more commonly associated with the slopes of Mount Etna. The farming here is traditional and a nod to when organic production was a way of life rather than an informed decision.
This lovely midweight red wine is made from Mount Etnas premuim red grapes. Intense yet delicate it has silky fine texture with redcurrant and blackcurrant notes.Very pretty in the glass and relatively pale the wine shows lots pepppery dark fruits, with a soft, mid weight and easy going palate that finishes fresh courtesy of the lively acidity.
