Description
With a winery located in the steep hills of Mango in Gramella, the Tintero family has been tending grapevines in the appellations of Moscato d’Asti and Langhe for four generations. While there is a strong traditional focus on high-quality Moscato, la familia Tintero devote a few plots of their sustainably farmed vineyards to other local piemonte varieties, such as Arneis, Favorita, Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo.
Soft, mellow and faintly floral, with a subtle bitter almond note that adds to the soft aromatics. Graceful and approachable, this is a wonderful and accessible example of Arneis.

The Carte d'Or Coteaux du Layon from Baumard has a very attractive honeyed nose, with lifted yellow fruits and more golden tropical elements such as mango, guava and pineapple. It has a particularly tropical character and a very fresh feel on the palate, with steely minerality and a zippy background acidity giving invigorating tartness to keep the wine luscious and buoyant. The rounded, approachable finish has good length.
