Description
The Isabel Pinot Gris displays tasntalising aromas of red apple and pear, with subtle ginger spice, and stone fruit and baked apple tart on the palate. Extended lees ageing leads to a wonderfully creamy, textured body; there is a rich complexity here which will also develop nicely in bottle.
One of the oldest estates in Marlborough, Isabel Estate was founded in 1980 by pilot Mike Tiller who identified the promising terroir while on repeated approaches to landing at Marlborough. Their vineyards are planted to a range of noble varieties but it’s the Pinot Gris which is our favourite.

The climate is Mediterranean, dry and hot during summer, but more temperate due to it's proximity to the sea.
