Description

The Ironcloud Alliance Cabernet/Malbec is a delicious blend where both Cabernet and Malbec characteristics shine through, with the Cabernet bringing generous vibrant flavours of blueberry and plum followed by chocolate on the long, textured finish.

Ironcloud Estate is situated in the picturesque Ferguson Valley, in the hills of the Geographe Wine Region of Western Australia.  Located 20 minutes inland from the city of Bunbury, 2 hours south of Perth and 1 hour north of Margaret River, the winery is ideally placed to enjoy near perfect vine growing conditions. In its short history, Ironcloud has won numerous Australian and International awards and received strong praise from respected Australian wine writers.
The fruit for this wine was estate grown from Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 1999 and Malbec in 2009.  Both varieties were harvested and fermented separately and each component was aged in a combination of new and older French Oak barrels before blending together and fined, filtered and bottled.

Rhone Blend

This relatively young family owned Domaine was created in 2001 by vignerons with 4 generations of vinegrowing and winemaking expertise under their belts.  They own some seriously old vines in superb sites in the Southern Rhone on a mixture of soils of red sand, clay and the classic 'Galet' pebbles associated with Chateauneuf du Pape.  As a result, their wines posess a wonderful depth and concentration.

2022 Promis Ca Marcanda, Gaja, IGT Toscana

Merlot

The Ca Marcanda Promis is a complex wine with an undeniable elegance. The nose is rich and concentrated, with blueberry, liquorice and cocoa hints. It starts fresh and then develops balsamic notes and scents of graphite, before becoming more mellow in character with a rhubarb and menthol note. The palate is voluminous with fine-grained and silky tannins on the finish.

Sangiovese

Gaja's Brunello di Montalcino shows notes of juniper berries, liquorice and sweet wood on the nose. It has a very clear expression of sweet and ripe fruit, opening on the palate, with notes of spice and earthy aromatic herbs. This wine has remarkable texture, mouth-filling fruit and a very good length.
