Description
The Quinta do Espinho Colheita is vinified in granite lagares and shows loads of up front black fruits with a smoky, savoury finish. Terrific value and true to both the region and the traditional grape varieties that it’s made with. (Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roiz & Tinta Barroca).
Quinta do Espinho comprises 20 hectares of vines on the Cima Corgo and is run by the sixth generation of the Macedo Pinto family. Recent investment in both the vineyards and winery has helped them improve and the Quinta is now producing outstanding and characterful wines from native varieties.

2020 Chateau Saransot-Dupre, Listrac Medoc, Magnum
Bordeaux Blend
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!
