Description

The Luis Canas Rioja Reserva has a wonderful deep cherry red colour in the glass which is clean and bright.  The expressive nose shows great aromatic intensity with notes of ripe red fruits and underlying hints of elegant balsamic. In the mouth the wine is mellow, fresh and with fine nuances of sweet fruit.  Great body, yet not overpowering the tannins are well integrated and polished.  The long finish shows touches of very ripe fruit and nuances of liquorice appear making it last in the palate.

95% Tempranillo & 5% Graciano which spends 18 months in a mixture of French and American oak.
