This de-alcoholised fizz from Domaine la Colombette is one of the best lo/no sparkling wines that we've come across to date.  The Domaine are pioneers in the languedoc, taking a sustainable approach to winemaking and doing lots of research into disease resistant vines as well as low volume and de-alcoholised wines.

2015 Bollinger La Grande Annee, Ay

Champagne Blend

Only made in the best years, the Bollinger Grande Annee is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay fermented in oak.  The 2015 has stone fruits, plum and honey on the nose initially, with more red fruits coming through.  Plump, rich and generous on the palate with red fruits and plum giving way to citrus acidity and an elegant vein of minerality.  Enjoyable now, this terrific wine will age gracefully for years to come.

Chardonnay

Germar Breton are a relatively young Champagne House that started in 2005.  Based in the southerly Aube region, they make approachable, terrific value wines solely from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, eschewing the use of Pinot Meunier as they believe that it brings a harshness ot the final wine.
