– 2024 Sierra Enmedio Garnacha, Bodegas Alceno, Jumilla. From Southeastern Spain, this medium-bodied red is packed full of juicy berries, a lick of spice and refreshing pomegranate and strawberry. Enjoy on its own or with roasted meats.

– 2021 Chateau Unang ‘La Source’, Ventoux. Grenache, Syrah, Mouvedre and Carignan make up this rich and full-bodied wine from the Southern Rhone. Think dark fruits and herbal notes with impeccable balance.

– 2025 Barbera D’asti, Cantine Povero, Piedmont. Aged in stainless steel, this medium-bodied red is packed with fruit, backed with the sophistication of violet and elderberry. Soft tannins and marked acidity make this ideal for pairing with food.

– 2024 Rioja, ‘Solar De Estraunza’, Rioja Alavesa. This gorgeous, youthful Rioja made from Old Vine Tempranillo is all red fruits, hints of liquorice with delicate florality. Enjoy on its own or with lighter red meat dishes.

– 2021 Toscana Rosso, Monte Antico, IGT. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese create an elegant bouquet of leather, black cherries, liquorice and plums with subtle notes of vanilla and violet from 12-24 months in oak, depending on the vintage of this ‘baby’ Tuscan.

– 2024 The Village Red, Kloovenburg, Swartland. Grenache, Syrah, Garnacha Peluda and Mouvedre lead this smooth, medium-bodied red- opening with hints of oak that perfectly compliment bramble, strawberry and white pepper notes. A must try for Cote Du Rhone fans and incredibly approachable.
