Weingut Ecker Eckhof have been making wine in Wagram for over 400 years and know a thing or two about making first class wines that are true to their grape variety and region. This juicy, approachable Zweigelt is a terrific example of the grape – dark cherry and raspberry fruit mingle with touches of spice and beautifully poised acidity. This is a lovely wine to serve slightly chilled alongside grilled meats or charcuterie platters.

This 100% Gamay from Domaine Moulin Camus comes from grapes grown on a slope of pure mica schist which gives the wine juicy, rounded red fruits a bit of tautness and minerality. A warmer than normal, sulphur free maceration for three days helps bring out some warmth and roundness to the fruit, making it slightly beaujolais'esque but without the bubble gum/commercial edge that one would normally find in this price range.
