New to our range is the fabulous Sensale Organic Syrah. This cracking little wine joins the ever-popular Grillo and smooth, medium-bodied Nero d’Avola. This lovely Syrah is very easy drinking with an abundance of approachable raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant fruit, touches of peppery spice and an easy going, balanced finish. This great wine is soft enough to drink without food, but really comes into it’s own with grilled meats.

The Un Bon Canon Cotes du Rhone hits the spot every time with it's fruit forward blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 5% Cinsault and 5% Mouvedre which is fermented in concrete tanks. The vineyards lie in the southern part of the region on a dried up river bed strewn with heat retaining pebbles. The hot summer sun ensures that the wine is bold and fruity with raspberry and dark fruits and hints of garrigue/herbal undergrowth.

Pinot Noir
The Bourgogne Pinot Noir Epineuil from Domaine Fournillon is a beautifully fresh Pinot with bright, red fruit flavours and supple tannins. This delightful red wine comes from parcels of vines in the village of Epineuil, with the majority of Pinot Noir grapes are harvested mechanically for efficiency so they can be transported to the estate for maceration in stainless steel tank for a period of 2 weeks, with regular punch downs. After separating the skins from the juice it is aged in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 15 months.

2020 Chateau Saransot-Dupre, Listrac Medoc, Magnum
Bordeaux Blend
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!
