The Funkstille Zweigelt is a terrific, approachable example the grape variety made at a very eco conscious winery that has a keen eye on sustainability. There is an abundance of red cherry, plum and vibrant berry fruits that are joyful, bright and incredibly juicy. Medium-bodied with beautifully ripe and light tannins and touch of spice on the finish courtesy of some old oak ageing.
