Description
This beautiful Douro Tinto from Quinta Nova is completely unoaked and displays bags of clean, unadulterated fruit, minerality from the schist soils and a lovely vein of fresh acidity. Medium bodied with a wealth of red berry fruit and violet floral notes, the rounded, generous palate is approachable and soft – a characteristic not always found in Douro reds. The lack of oak allows the natural minerality to shine through and help keep the wine fresh. Perfect for barbecue meats or pasta with tomato based sauces.

As a result, their wines posess a wonderful depth and concentration.
