Description
The Triebaumer Rose is a massively appealing Rose made from the Blaufrankisch grape variety. A delicious combination of red berry fruits, strawberries and cream and refreshing redcurrants abound on both the nose and the palate. The finish is long and wonderfully fresh with a tantalising hint of sweetness which simply adds to the appeal. Tasted blind, this could pass for a very light red as opposed to Rose but that shouldn’t stop you from giving it a go.
The Triebaumer family have lived in Rust for over 300 years and have long been associated with wine production in this part of Austria. They have followed the regulations of Organic certification since 1971 and do not use any synthetic persticides/herbicides on their vineyards. Gunter & Regina Triebaumer stopped short of official certification due to the prohibitive costs.

NV Rose Extra Brut, Langham Estate, Dorset
Champagne Blend
This complex Rosé NV is a blend of 59% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier, 36% Chardonnay, and is made from 82% base wine from 2019 and 18% reserve wine. The wine offers aromas aplenty of cherry bakewell, pink lady apple skin, raspberry yoghurt & wild strawberries. The palate reflects this fresh red berry profile, but it is also more serious & has great depth. Cherry yoghurt, young wild strawberry & raspberry coulée bring the fruit profile to the forefront, whilst a more savoury & saline note rounds off the wine.
