Description
The Atance Bobal is a cracking value red wine from high altitude vineyards in Valencia. Fermented in stainless steel, then aged in old barrels for 8 months, this lovely wine has plenty of fresh red fruits on the aromatic nose and typical juicy, acidity on the finish. This versatile wine is a great match to grilled red meats and is perfect for summer drinking when you don’t want anything too heavy.

The Beaujolais Villages 'Cuvee Six' from Caves De Julienas Chaintre just gets better and better with each vintage, showing soft, rounded red fruits and vibrant cherry flavours. Complex enough to make one sit up and think yet easy going and supple at the same time. Great for lighter lunches and it can also be chilled lightly when the weather warms up!

2018 Brunello di Montalcino Pieve Santa Restituta, Gaja, DOCG
Sangiovese
Gaja's Brunello di Montalcino shows notes of juniper berries, liquorice and sweet wood on the nose. It has a very clear expression of sweet and ripe fruit, opening on the palate, with notes of spice and earthy aromatic herbs. This wine has remarkable texture, mouth-filling fruit and a very good length.

2022 Gonzo Combat Rouge, Vandal Wine Company
Red Blend
The Gonzo Combat Rouge is a rather unusual field blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Viognier which are co-fermented with whole bunch fermentation. The results is a beautifully supple yet plush and ripe red wine with sweet, spicy raspberry and cherry fruit. We've found it drinks best slightly chilled on a warm evening.

2020 Chateau Saransot-Dupre, Listrac Medoc, Magnum
Bordeaux Blend
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!
