Vachnadziani was established in 1953and is one of the oldest wineries in Georgia. The Hanewald-Schwerdt Chardonnay reveals citrus & stone fruits with nuances of melons and herbs. Silky, lively with nice acidity.There is the merest whiff of old oak to this wine which is used purely to some softness to the mouthfeel.  This is very appealing and an extremely enjoyable take on Chardonnay.
