Description
The Peique ‘Seleccion Familiar’ is an exceptional example of Bierzo Mencia that comes from 90 year old vines that give depth and character to this impeccable wine.
The nose is typically aromatic for the variety with dark fruits mingling with balsamic notes and subtle spice. Judicious use of oak gives a wine that is full yet elegant, with mineral undertones and dark fruits perfectly poised. The finish is long and silky with a soft, velvety character that is both bold yet refined.
