Description
The Clos de Lom Tempranillo is a wonderful wine, deep red in colour with youthful purple hues. Intense and complex on the nose with hints of black fruits. The palate is fruit packed with more silky dark fruits and well-integrated ripe tannins. The finish is long and classy, and simply begs for another glass to be poured.
Founded in 1836, Clos de Lom is a family owned winery in the DO of Valencia. The vineyards lie at around 600 metres above sea level and are about 15km from the Mediterranean, allowing for cooling breezes and fresh night time temperatures which helps to give a wonderful elegance to their wines.

2023 Gamay, Domaine Moulin Camus, IGP Loire
Gamay
This 100% Gamay from Domaine Moulin Camus comes from grapes grown on a slope of pure mica schist which gives the wine juicy, rounded red fruits a bit of tautness and minerality. A warmer than normal, sulphur free maceration for three days helps bring out some warmth and roundness to the fruit, making it slightly beaujolais'esque but without the bubble gum/commercial edge that one would normally find in this price range.
