Description

The truly stunning Hope Marguerite Chenin Blanc from Beaumont wines has a complex nose mixes floral, stone fruit charater with herbs and spice.  The palate is exotic yet fresh and focussed with beautifully poised acidity and well integrated oak.  The finely balanced acidity on the long finish keeps the wine fresh and hints towards this being a wine which will age gracefully for many years to come.

Hope Marguerite is made from a careful selection of the most characterful fruit from the oldest vineyards at Beaumont.  It is fermented naturally with minimum intervention and matured in mostly old 400L French oak.  The wine doesn’t undergo malolactic fermentation which helps it retain freshness and poise and acts as a balance to the oak used in the fermentation process.
