Cabernet Franc
Lively, ruby-red in colour, this wine has a fruity nose with prevailing aromas of red and black fruits. The palate is supple and rich. There's enough acidity and freshness to make this a good match to cooked pork dishes and white meats in general as well as roasts and a simple cheeseboard. First of all we would like to thank the gentleman in the shop for explaining in detail this particular wine and its origin.
I am new to exploring red wine and we are finding it fascinating, we were recommended this wine as a good starting point and we are not disappointed, accompanied by the information here we were able to identify the wines different qualities on trying.
It is very pleasant and I am sure we will be back for another education on another nice wine.
