Description
The Stand & Deliver Shiraz is a BIG wine, packing in tons of dark berry fruit and spice as one would expect from an Aussie Shiraz, yet coming from one of the highest vineyards (510m) in the Clare Valley there is also some decent acidity and freshness. If you like big, bold and rich wines then this is definitely for you! 100% Shiraz fermented with wild yeasts in open top fermenters, with 21 months in oak has produced a blockbuster wine which has great ageing potential.
The ethos at this fabulous winery is to make wines which are natural expressions of their grape and terroir and to keep intervention to a minimum. The results are a range of wines which are charismatic and most importantly a joy to drink.

2022 Gonzo Combat Rouge, Vandal Wine Company
Red Blend
The Gonzo Combat Rouge is a rather unusual field blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Viognier which are co-fermented with whole bunch fermentation. The results is a beautifully supple yet plush and ripe red wine with sweet, spicy raspberry and cherry fruit. We've found it drinks best slightly chilled on a warm evening.
