Autocarro 27 has an intense and refreshing nose with notes of plum and red fruits. Vibrant and lively acidity with tannins present, but not aggressive, giving a youthful and pleasant youth.
Herdade do Portocarro is a project that is based on a philosophy of production of finest wines in limited and exclusive quantities. These wines possess an intense and complex personality: they are tense and earthy, but also elegant and fresh. Located in the border between the beautiful Peninsula de Setubal and the intensely hot Alentejo plains, this 18 ha single vineyard has been planted on a hilltop facing South, 60 m above the river Sado. Both the rain’s draining and the sun exposure are excellent, it is surrounded by trees and benefits from the Atlantic Ocean’s cool influence.

Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!

The Un Bon Canon Cotes du Rhone hits the spot every time with it's fruit forward blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 5% Cinsault and 5% Mouvedre which is fermented in concrete tanks. The vineyards lie in the southern part of the region on a dried up river bed strewn with heat retaining pebbles. The hot summer sun ensures that the wine is bold and fruity with raspberry and dark fruits and hints of garrigue/herbal undergrowth.
