Description
Louis Guntrum’s Riesling Spatlese Oppenheim Herrenberg has an expressive nose of exotic fruits with an underlying hint of development. The palate is elegant and finely poised with intense pineapple and mango fruit, wonderful balanced sweetness and acidity and a touch of distinctive oilyness. The finish is balanced, elegant and long.
Louis Guntrum own 11 hectares of mainly Grand Cru vineyards in the Rheinhessen and their estate houses one of the largest brick vaulted cellars in the region. With such an array of vineyards built up over the years, they produce an impeccable range of wines which are true expressions of the terroirs in which they are grown.

2023 Riesling Sekt Trocken, Hanewald-Schwerdt, Pfalz
Riesling
The Hanewald-Schwerdt Riesling Sekt Trocken has a steely lemon tinged nose with red apple and peach underpinned by zesty lime acidity, resulting in a lovely refreshing style. This is by no means bone dry though, and with 23grams of residual sugar this a fruitier style that is a great alternative to Prosecco for those looking for something a little different.
