The Petali Liatiko from Diamantakis is a pale red colour with cherry highlights. Aromas of raisins, caramel, fig, red-black fruits like strawberry, plum blackberry, which are followed by scents of spice like cinnamon and clove. Medium-bodied with lovely fresh acidity and tannins, give a juicy and pleasant finish.  A great match to traditional Greek dishes.

Georgia is considered to be the ‘cradle of wine', as 8,000 year-old indigenous Rkatsiteli grape seeds have been found in clay vessels. Vachnadziani was established in 1953and is one of the oldest wineries in Georgia. The Castillo Del Moro Tempranillo/Syrah is an easy going, unoaked red which has freshness and roundness on the palate as well as showing a ruby/dark purple colour. The nose gives liquorice, dark fruits and lychee aromas, followed by a medium structure and long finish on the palate.

2023 Julienas ‘Bois de la Salle’, Cave Julienas-Chaintre

Gamay

The grapes for this medium weight, fruit led Julienas are hand harvested and left in tank for 10 days to macerate in order to optimise the colour and aroma of the wine. Fermentation takes place at a warm 27/28 degrees centigrade and maturation follows until March when the wine is bottled.An intense, purple colour. Fruity aromas dominated by fragrant raspberry, blackberry and blueberry. Round, supple and rich yet balanced by a lingering freshness on the finish.
