Baumard are, in our opinion quite rightly, one of the Loire Valley’s most lauded producers. Their wines are concentrated and rich yet show impeccable balance and tremendous longevity.
The Clos du Papillon is superb. This wonderful wine shows aromas of ripe pear, almond and white flowers on the nose. The concentrated palate is rich with citrus fruits, bergamot and fine mineral notes bringing purity to the finish and perfect balance.
