On the nose it is fresh and herbal with hints of rubbed peppermint leaves, stemmy, damp grass, smoky, oily, cigar leaves, smoked ham and hickory. The palate has good body, oily, tar, with elegant smoke. The finish is long, peppery, spicy, with warmth.
