Cantina Castiadas are new to our list and we are thrilled to be stocking their clean and fresh wines made from Sardinia's native grape varieties.  Gentle and approachable, the Capo Ferrato is fermented in stainless steel and concrete and is a herbal tinged beauty that is rounded and nicely weighted with a great balance on the finish.

2024 Vermentino di Sardegna Notteri, Cantina Castiadas

Vermentino

The Notteri is a terrific example of Vermentino di Sardegna. Made with free run juice that is fermented at cool temperatures before resting on it's fine lees for 60 days.  The result is a wine which shows an intense nose that is fresh with stone fruit and floral notes.  The palate is soft and dry with more intensity and finishing on a pleasing bitter note.  This elegant white is a terrific wine to be enjoyed with seafood, especially shellfish, and lighter mediterranean starters.

The delightful e Rosato by Mora & Memo is an elegant and intense Rose showing Cherry, Raspberry and Blackberry fruit on the nose and palate along with more delicate floral notes.  Lovely fresh acidity on the finsh adds some structure and balance.
