This amazing Viognier from Francois Villard has a pale yellow-gold hue in the glass, and offers powerful aromas of peach, apricot, honeysuckle, and orange blossom on the nose. The palate delivers typically rich, fleshy stone-fruit flavours with a compelling mineral streak, balanced by lively acidity and a subtle salinity that lingers beautifully. This beguiling wines is delicious now, but will continue to provide terrific drinking over the next 3-5 years at least.

The Goldmine White is the long awaited partner to The Chocolate Block, Boekenhoutskloof iconic red wine.  The blend of Swartland Chenin along with Chardonnay, Semillon and Viognier from other regions in the Cape fermented in a mixture of french oak, concrete eggs and clay amphora.  This lovely, textured white shows plenty of stony/savoury notes with herbal aromas and rich yet clean pear and citrus fruit.

The Rioja Blanco Fermentado en Barrica from the amazing Bodegas Martinez Lacuesta is a pale greenish yellow colour with a touch of toasted oak over mellow fresh fruit on the nose. In the mouth, it is initially fresh, with the well integrated oak building in prominence in the mid-palate. The floral fruit character carries through to the well-balanced finish.

The De Bortoli Accomplice Chardonnay is a light straw colour with lifted aromas of ripe peach and nectarine complemented with a decent lick of vanilla oak. The palate is soft and creamy and exhibits ripe stone fruits. Integrated oak and a gentle acid nuance for a very long finish.

The Wolftrap White has a nose that is bold, intense, and rich with stone fruit aromas of peach, nectarine and yellow plum as well as gentle whiffs of angelica, spice, and fresh ginger.
