2013 Pinot Gris, Moorooduc Estate, Mornington Peninsula
Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio
We were delighted to be offered a little library stock of older Pinot Gris from Moorooduc Estate. This is such a wonderful wine, showing great development and compexity. The exotic nose leads to a rich yet balanced palate that is dry and satisfying with a lovely balance of weight and texture. The balanced finish is long and tinged with citrus and green pear fruit.

The Langham Dry White is a still blend of 82% Chardonnay and 18% Madeleine Angevine that has been fermented using natural yeasts in mainly stainless steel with a little bit of oak, and aged for 9 months before final blending and bottling. 2021 Orange Kisi, Tiko Estate, Kakheti
Kisi
The Orange Kisi from Tiko Estate in Eastern Georgia is a traditionally made Orange wine with fermentation taking place on skins in clay Qvevri. The wine remains on it's skins for 6 months following the fermentation and as a result shows incredible concentration and a beautiful weight balanced with aromatic, ripe stone fruit characters, notably apricot and peach. There is some tannic structure too making this a superb match to both eastern mediterranean cuisine (take note Ottolenghi fans), and also spicier Asian dishes.

2022 Cartology, Alheit Vineyards, WO Western Cape
Chenin Blanc
The nose shows citrus oil and pear, with some subtle floral/honeyed tones. The palate is very well proportioned, with firm mid-palate structure, medium rich mouth feel, and long carry. Flavour persists and even intensifies throughout its length. The wine finishes dry and saline, refreshing the palate. This vintage has a sappy, thirst-quenching quality about it.
