This brand new release from Kingston Distillers is te first whisky that we know of that has been matured in Sloe Gin casks.  Appealingly sweet and fruit led on the palate with notes of fudge, cherry and toasted malt.  The balanced finish is smooth and honeyed with caramel notes.

12YO Kilkerran, Campbeltown Single Malt

Single Malt

On the nose oak is the dominant, followed by toasted marshmallows and dried fruit pudding, as well as cherries, marzipan and a hint of peat. The palate is initially fruity with citrus notes and orange peel, followed by vanilla, butterscotch, honeycomb and digestive biscuits. To finish, it is velvety and smooth with lemon meringue as well as an oiliness and a saltiness that you’d expect from a Campbeltown dram.

14 Year Old Tomatin, Single Highland Malt

The 14 Year Old Tomatin is aged in Bourbon casks before finishing for a year in port pipes.  There's lots of fruit and richness on the nose with red berries and vanilla coming through.  The palate is complex with rich bread and butter pudding, cinnamon spice and lighter notes of peach, mango and plum coming through as well.  The long finish is smooth and nicely spiced without being too rich.
