Description
This is another beautful Champagne from the Levasseur stable and show what you can achieve by honing in on terroir and acute attention to detail in both the vineyard and winery. 80% Pinot Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir and 5% Chardonnay from the oldest plots in the vineyard, this wine has a healthy 30% Reserve wine in the blend. Stunning value again (see Noir de Terroir), with quite exotic fruit content, a dry, mineral backbone and clean, crisp finish. This wine spends 4 years ageing on it’s lees which helps add to the roundness, depth and complexity and is way beyond the minimum required in the region.
