Established in the 1960’s at Chateau Thierry by the marriage of Robert Lété and Liliane Vautrain, Champagne Lete Vautrain is a small, 8 hectare Recoltant-Manipulant, meaning they own all of their own vineyards and have complete control of the growing and winemaking process from start to finish.
The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted prior to fermentation at a cool temperature, and ageing on lees takes place for a minimum of 36 months. The wine shows a lovely deep golden hue in the glass with apple, peach and apricot fruit complemented by dried fruits and classic biscuity notes. A well balanced, comples and rounded Champagne that is the perfect aperitif style.
50% Pinot Meunier, 25% Chardonnay & 25% Pinot Noir.

We are big fans of Germar Breton here at DWC. Family owned and run with a personal touch, this Champagne house produce friendly wines that are generous, approachable and almost dangerously drinkable. The elegant Blanc de Noirs is made with 100% Pinot Noir, including 20% reserve wine, and shows an intense nose of hazlenuts and dried fruits alongside peach and citrus fruit. The generous palate is intense and persistent with a lovely balance of fruit and freshness with nutty undertones.
