Description
The Kilkerran Heavily Peated has become a core range product for this fabulous and still somewhat under the radar distillery. The Batch 9 has notes of freshly baked shortbread, cream soda, banana loaf and coconut shavings on the nose. The palate is creamy with vanilla notes carrying through from the nose along with buttered digestive biscuits and custard creams with well integrated peat. The finish really brings the peat to the fore along with hints of gooseberries.
