Description

The D’orset Brut Reserve and Brut Rose are our own label traditional method sparkling wines made in conjunction with our friends at Langham Estate.  We’ve worked closely with Langham from their first vintage and have been staunch supporters of their fabulous, low intervention wines since day one, so it made perfect sense for us to collaborate on an own label project.

Made with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from the excellent 2015 vintage, our Brut Reserve shows a wonderful balance of richness and texture with fresh, balancing acidity.  Perfectly mature, and showing lovely toasted brioche, honey and baked apple characters, we’re very proud to have put a stamp on this terrific wine and call it our own. Bottled at a slightly lower pressure than normal, the gentle mousse makes this wine very food friendly, especially with our local shellfish.

The rose is very pretty in the glass and delicate on the nose, showing red berry, bright cherry and hints of refreshing rhubarb on the nose, leading to a creamy, textured palate balanced by refreshing acidity on the finish.
