Chateau Ksara are the oldest winery in Lebanon and produce a fabulous range of wines from both indigenous and international grape varieties. Our specially selected case contains 2 bottles each of the following wines:
Merwah – Concentrated citrus fruits with floral aromatics and finely poised minerality.
Sunset Rose – A blend of Cabernet Franc and Syrah that is packed with red berry fruit and hints of spice.
Reserve du Couvent – Rhone meets Bordeaux by way of the Bekaa Valley showing lots of blackberry and dark cherry fruit with black pepper spice and whiffs of vanilla.

The is the first wine from Povero that included international grapes in the blend and was created so the winemaker could express the power of these varietals.

The Sottano Cabernet Sauvignon is a lovely deep red/black colour that leads to a complex and inviting nose of coffee, dark fruits and hints of spice. The ripe, rounded palate has more generous dark fruits, well-integrated oak and soft, supple tannins on the finish.
