Description
The delicious Single Vineyard Chardonnay from Matawhero is unoaked but goes through full malolactic fermentation giving a rounded, nutty style of white that is full yet fresh and fruit forward. The nose shows tantalising notes of Melon, stonefruit and butterscotch which leads to a palate of peaches and cream with a lovely nutty character on the finish.
All Matawhero wines are dry farmed on non-irrigated vinyeards, giving as true a reflection of the terroir as possible.
