The MontGras Handcrafted Cinsault is a small production red wine of only 3200 bottles. Fermented in stainless steel with 60% of hte stalks included, the wine is the aged in a combinations of 225 litre French Oak and laregr Foudres for 11 months. The result is a relatively light yet intense wine with pronounced cherry and strawberry fruit on the nose with underlying hints of damp earth. The palate is refreshing with well-integrated tannins and complex aromatics.
“Brambly nose with raspberries, dried watermelon and pomegranate. Sleek and fresh on the palate with fresh, soft tannins and juicy finish. Laid back red with cheerful red fruit and potpourri in the finish ” – James Suckling, 91 PTS
