The Cinquenta Red is a superbly knit blend of estate grown Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drinking beautifully, this wine has a complex nose of red cherry, boysenberry and minerals. Elegantly rich on the palate, this medium-full bodied red has plenty of dark fruits notes with subtle wisps of cocoa and coffee. The finish is delicate and marked by elegance and finesse.

Matt and Audra were intent on intent on producing wine in the most sustainable way possible and tore out the existing vineyard that they purchased. Amongst the mesaures they took was to enlist the help of 200 goats to graze the hillsides and to naturally compost the site, as well as creating a fire safe zone by lifting the densely forested canopy and cover cropped with a recipe of legumes, clovers and nitrogen fixing green manures.
