Description
Vina Robles own six sustainably farmed vineyards in and around Paso Robles and produce a range of expressive reds and whites which reflect both the grape vairities and soils in which they are grown The Petite Sirah is particularly impressive and comes from a seleciotn of hand picked fruit which is aged ina amixture French, American and Hungarian oak. The wine displays a wealth of dark berry, plum and boysenberry fruit, tantalising spice and a wonderful rich, creamy texture. This is big but not necessarily a monster!

Pinot Noir
The grapes for this wine are hand harvested from 2 parcels in the heart of Mercurey where the soil is clay and limestone. They spend 10-15 days fermenting in the tank before being put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. The wine then spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.

This relatively young family owned Domaine was created in 2001 by vignerons with 4 generations of vinegrowing and winemaking expertise under their belts. They own some seriously old vines in superb sites in the Southern Rhone on a mixture of soils of red sand, clay and the classic 'Galet' pebbles associated with Chateauneuf du Pape. As a result, their wines posess a wonderful depth and concentration.
