Description

This wonderful Saperavi from Tiko Estate is packed with vibrant blueberry and dark plum fruits, supported by toasty oak and fine grained tannins.

The Saperavi grapes for this wine were destemmed but left whole before undergoing a cold soak for 4 days prior to fermentation, allowing for flavour extraction.  The wine was left on skins for a furter 7 days following fermentation before pressing into a mix of new and seasoned French oak for 6 to 12 months.  It was then naturally clarified and lightly filtered at bottling.
