Description
The Belleville Rully La Perche shows spicy aromas of white flowers and citrus fruit on the nose with hints of almond and underlying minerality. Clean and fresh on the palate with lemon and exotic fruit notes. This elegant white wraps up with terrific balance and a long, harmonious finish.
Domaine Belleville was created in Rully at the beginning of the 20th century and has 22 hectares of vineyards spread throughout Burgundy. They produce an impeccable range of wines which have a true sense of place and provide delicious drinking.
The grapes for the La Perche are gently pressed and the must is left to settle for 12-24 hours before a slow and full alcoholic fermentation takes place in 228 litre oak casks at temperatures of 15-20 °C. The wine is then matured in oak casks for a period of 10-18 months with the proportion of oak used varying depending on the vintage. Lees stirring in barrel encourages both body and freshness.

2022 Vouvray Cuvee Silex, Domaine des Aubuisieres, AC Vouvray
Chenin Blanc
Produced from several vineyards with Silex (flint) soils, this delicious Vouvray is pale yellow with a very reserved nose. The palate is dominated by minerals, with citrus, apple and lemon peel fruit. Floral aromas balance out the minerality with some lovely balanced acidity coming through on the finish.
