Description
Since it was established in 1932, Nals Margreid has focused on creating variety and terroir driven wines from South Tyrol, where Italy’s northernmost wine-growing region borders on the Alps and the Dolomites. 170 hectares (65% white wine, 35% red wine) are cultivated in vineyards between 250-900 meters above sea level. The growers´ knowledge and passion in the vineyards, combined with an acute attention to detail in the winery, results in authentic wines from fourteen different areas in Alto Adige.
This terrific Pinot Grigio owes its distinguishing and full-bodied complexion to its 80-year old vines which root in nourishing clay soils. Excellent acidity, length and structure are hallmarks of the ‘Hill’ Cuvee from Nals Margreid. Elegant yet with an underlying strength, this first class Pinot Grigio is a superb choice as an aperitif or to match delicate dishes.

2019 Bordeaux Blanc Sec, Chateau Saransot-Dupre
Semillon/Sauvignon
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!
