The Niepoort Drink Me Tinto boasts a beautiful, intense hue, revealing violet tones when swirled. Floral aromas combine with notes of red berries and a subtle minty character which lends the wine complexity and freshness.The palate is wonderfully round and elegant, with pronounced acidity.
Dirk Niepoort’s idea behind the ‘Drink Me’ label was to create an easy drinking red but without compromising the complexity, minerality and depth of classic Douro wines.
After fermentation about half the wine is aged in oak for six months, while the remainder matured in stainless steel and this gives a good balance between fresh fruitiness and a touch of silky elegance.This is an uncomplicated red wine from the Douro Valley. A wine which shows off its origins and its abundance of grape varieties in an elegant, fresh and easy-drinking interpretation of the terroir.

The Bourgogne Pinot Noir Epineuil from Domaine Fournillon is a beautifully fresh Pinot with bright, red fruit flavours and supple tannins. This delightful red wine comes from parcels of vines in the village of Epineuil, with the majority of Pinot Noir grapes are harvested mechanically for efficiency so they can be transported to the estate for maceration in stainless steel tank for a period of 2 weeks, with regular punch downs. After separating the skins from the juice it is aged in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 15 months.
