Description

Situated in the cool, southermost tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet, Lomond wines are well placed to make fresh, cool climate styles.  This crisp and delicate traditional method sparkler is made from a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and shows elegant floral notes and fresh pear and citrus on the nose.  The palate is rounded and creamy with beautifully poised, fresh acidity on the finish.

The fruit was manually sorted before being whole berry pressed. Each variety underwent temperature-controlled ermentation until dry. They were then carefully blended to create the base wine. Using the traditional method, the wine then underwent secondary fermentation in bottle. It was aged on its lees for a minimum of 36 months before being riddled and disgorged.
