2022 Cremant de Bourgogne Brut, Domaine Fournillon

Pinot Noir

Fournillon have 23 hectares of vines in Chablis in the cool, north of burgundy and are predominantly producers of classic, steely Chablis (see our fantastic value 'house' Chablis), but they also produce some red and this delicious cremant from 100% Pinot Noir.  All fruit is hand-harvested and vinified carefully to produce an easy drinking, fruit-forward fizz that is well balanced and nicely rounded with a fine mousse.  Excellent as an apertif.

From the foothills of the Pyrenees comes this crisp and beautifully dry Gros Manseng. Grapefruits and baked lemon flavours flesh out the mouthwatering acidity making for a perfect all occasion tipple. Enjoy this cracking white as an aperitif with excellent seafood, asian or spicy foods.

2022 El Chivo Sauvignon Blanc, Central Valley

Sauvignon Blanc

This vineyard is located in  the Valle Central in Chile at the foot of the Andes, with a winegrowing area covering 114,000 hectares with very varied soils.  A very easy drinking Sauvignon Blanc with typical aromas of gooseberry and citrus fruits, lovely balanced acidity and a crisp clean finish.

2023 Riesling Sekt Trocken, Hanewald-Schwerdt, Pfalz

Riesling

The Hanewald-Schwerdt Riesling Sekt Trocken has a steely lemon tinged nose with red apple and peach underpinned by zesty lime acidity, resulting in a lovely refreshing style.  This is by no means bone dry though, and with 23grams of residual sugar this a fruitier style that is a great alternative to Prosecco for those looking for something a little different.
