Description
The Erial Tinto is a full-bodied wine with great intensity on the nose, pure and clean with intense blackberries, black licorice and mineral undertones. The oak is very well integrated with the fruit adding very fine vanilla, toasty and spicy aromas.
Bodegas Epifanio Rivera are a family winery with a long history of vine growing in the Pesquera del Duero. Their 80 year old vineyards and ancient underground cellar date from the 16th Century, and they even have a press known as “La cocedera”, which has been in use since the 19th Century, and still producing family wine to this day. Erial is aged for 12 months in a mixture of French (75%) and American (25%) oak barrels.

2020 Chateau Saransot-Dupre, Listrac Medoc, Magnum
Bordeaux Blend
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!
