Description
Eirados make a very approachable, traditional style of LBV (Late Bottled Vintage), with the hand picked grapes fermented in granite lagares before resting in stainless steel for 6 months prior to ageing in Portuguese oak casks for 3 years.
Quinta Santa Eufémia is a family company that has been producing Port & Douro wines since 1864. Located in the Douro region of Baixo and Cima Corgo on the left side of the river Douro at an altitude about 300m above sea level, the estate continues to be managed by the Carvalho family.

Palomino
The Barbadillo Finos are more Manzanilla-like in style, but are aged in Bodegas with less exposure to the cooling sea breezes. The flor in the barrels grows vigorously in these cellars so the wine is a little more nutty and toasty than the more appley and yeasty Manzanillas of Sanlucar.
