Description

Founded in 1670, Warre’s is the oldest British Port House and has remained a family-owned company throughout its long history.

This 1985 is perfectly mature and is wonderfully aromatic showing an abundance of red and dark fruits with floral undertones.  The palate is tremendously elegant, ( a Warre’s hallmark), and packed with dark fruit flavours such as dark cherry and plums wrapped up in silky tannins which lead to a long and lingering finish.

2013 Sobremesa Tonel, Mouchao Licoroso, Alentejo

Alicante Bouschet

The Sobremesa Tonel, Mouchao Licoroso has aromas of deep black fruits, dark sweetness, dry fruits, combined with the freshness of mint and eucalyptus. On the palate it is complex, being  full and rich with intense, spicy notes to the warm cocoa, tobacco and black fruits.  Decadent, different and one to enjoy post dinner in good company.
