The 1973 Bas Armagnac from Veuve Goudoulin was a Gold Medal winner at the presitgious San Francisco Spirits Awards.  Complex yet beautifully integrated with notes of cocoa, prunes and liquorice.  Silky smooth and an absolute delight to drink, this vintage Armagnac makes a perfect anniversary gift, just keep your fingers crossed that the recipient will share it with you!
